Sanctuary of Davidson, my happy place. |
I am so excited!! I have been working and selling my art at Sanctuary for almost 2 years. I love it! Every time I go to work, I get a giant coffee and walk all around the gallery looking and soaking up all the new creations that have come in. I love the people and leave at the end of the day feeling completely and totally inspired. A gallery featuring over 60 different local artists will do that to a person! Anywho as of Oct. 3, I am going to have my own little space within Sanctuary. Krissy, owner of Sanctuary, and one of the coolest chicks I know, has these three little rooms within the gallery and one of them is going to be all Button Bird Designs. I have dreamed since I was a little girl of owning my own store. So this is kinda like having my own place, without all the headaches and the bills! I can't wait to fill it up and decorate it the way I want it to look. My little room will hold a couple pieces of furniture and lots of handmade things.
Here is another project that I have been working on in order to prepare for my new space in Sanctuary!
I bought these coffee sacks at Metrolina. They have been sitting in my garage all summer until the other day when they caught my eye. |
