Sometimes you just need a little encouragement.

Sometimes you just need to be reminded to be yourself.  Be the person God made you to be.

Thank you for all the comments regarding my last post.  Taking time to type a few words of encouragement meant the world to me.  As I read the comments, I grew more and more excited.  I could do this blog and I could do it my way.  Some of the comments I received brought tears to my eyes. Seriously.  The encouragement was so inspiring, I just had to share a few with you.  AND I am going to share them with pictures!!!!
"Stop telling yourself no, rewrite that voice in your head." ~Susan

"I have decided to go with who I am and seek to inspire others from the everyday ordinary around me." ~ Jackie, Empty Nest Full Life

"Writing well isn't about being polished or using fancy words....it is about writing from the heart, sharing what you are passionate about, and being real." ~Laurel

"The most important thing about writing is being authentic." ~ Handmade Housewife

"Every blog doesn't have to be written by a writer that moves readers to tears. Write your way and your readers will find you." ~Alicia, Mona Alicia Blog

  3. Just write about what YOU know about. You know something, you want to impart it to us, and we want to learn. It's as easy as that. Just enjoy what you're doing and so will we......

  5. Wow - what an amazing piece!! You have such a gift, the way you are able to create beauty out of practically nothing. You really are teaching me to look at the world around me in a different light! I will never throw away and old book or piece of wood again. I'm glad my words encouraged you, this blog encourages me for sure!!

  6. Just have to say that I can be having the crappiest of days (like I have had today), but I go down my favorites list and see Button Bird Designs and just know that something you say or some project you are showcasing always has a way of lifting my spirits and makes me want to run home and do art after a long day at the office. Keep it up!
