One happy thrifting girl!

Boy does it feel good to be home!  We were in my home town Bristol,Virgina for a week and then went to St. Simons, Ga for a week for vacation.  Now we are back home and I couldn't be happier!!!  I am such a homebody, I love being home.  Also I am excited to start the Button Bird 30 Day Reset today!  I'm thrilled some of you are going to join me for the next 30 days!!!  So much more fun and encouraging if you have someone to do it with!!!  I think I will try to post my weekly results every Monday and those of you who are on board, we can discuss in the comment section!  Also please feel free to email me if you are having a week moment!  I know I may have a few.

Any who I had these pictures I wanted to share from my thrifting escapades while in Bristol.  If you are ever in the tricities area make sure you reserve at least a day for thrifting and antiquing.  I can't tell you how many thrift stores, antique malls, junk stores and yard sales there are!!  Whenever I'm in Bristol I always try to set one day aside for some thrifting adventures.

Darn...I love naked thrifting.

This place was so jam packed I couldn't even get to the back of the store.  Yes that is a deer head on the floor.

Tobacco baskets anyone??

Yep I bought it.  You know I can't pass up a ladder and I have much ladder love, especially one shaped like a house!!!  $8.00

I wanted this so bad, but at $26.00 it was too much plus I'm not really sure what it's for.  A food carrier of some sort??  Yeah, I don't make anything food wise that needs to be carried!haha

This was one of those places where you had to dig!  I was in heaven!

Doesn't she look so happy thrifting with mom!

This is what she reallllllllly looked like before I threatened to make her go to another thrift store if she didn't lose the attitude!

Isn't she beautiful!!  I only knocked over a couple of people to get to her.  Yes I love her so much I have assigned her a sex!  However I didn't love her $400.00 much!

Bought this pair of lamps for $5.00!  Not sure if they work, if not then I will paint and turn them into cool sculptures or book ends!

Bought this vintage quilt and old tin hanging for $5.00!!

I scored more vintage fabric but decided to leave the little suitcase behind because it was a mess on the inside.  Fabric $3.00!

I'm still mad I didn't get this.  I think it was only $12.00?  Hey mom can you go back and get it!?!?!  Wouldn't it look cool painted in a corner somewhere!?

I couldn't believe this was $250.00 at the Salvation Army!  I walked away very fast.

 $1.00 sold!

$1.00 Hubcaps! Sold, I think these will make awesome flowers!

.19 and .39..... I heart thrifting!

Does this photo make your heart skip a beat or is it just me!?!

Ok how about this one!?!?!?!  I have been wanting an old bike foreverrrrr.  I have even been pinning some on pinterest!  I was planning on having a "sale everything in my house sale" in order to buy one (I am still planning the sale, more on that later).  I almost fell over when I saw this blue dream for $55.00!

The best part was riding it up and down the street while my mom cracked up!!  I had to test it out!!  Then she snuck in the store and paid for the bike while I was making room for it in my van. Have I ever told you how much I love my parents?

All I need is a basket and a bell and I will be really annoying in my neighborhood!
